One last summery salad. I mean, it has been 90 all week! Can you believe that?! This is a salad my girlfriend, Lisa brought over right after we had Claire. It was so ridiculously delicious and totally hit the spot! Love love love the kiwis in it and that the almonds are baked all toasty like.
Lisa’s Strawberry Kiwi Salad
Recipe from Lisa V.
DRESSING
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 ts Salt
1 ts Ground Dry mustard
1/3 c Red wine vinegar
1/2 ts Onion pwder
2-3 tb Olive oil
1 tb Poppy seeds
3 Strawberries
Place everything in the blender including the strawberries and pulse til smooth.
Salad
Strawberries, sliced
4 Kiwis, sliced
6 Cups Romaine
Sliced almonds, toasted in the oven
