Turkey Wrap

Welcome to my lunch. EVERY DARNĀ  DAY. Ok, not every single day. But, for the past two weeks this is pretty much what I ate. Since most breads have dairy I can’t have a lot of sandwiches and from there lunch options go down. Lunch is hands down the worst meal of the day anyway. Don’t get me wrong, I’m starving by lunch every day (yes, I eat breakfast and a snack in between. I’m just a hungry person), but I HATE dealing with lunch. There aren’t many options and I tire of the same ol’ stuff. Moving right along; I had cranberry sauce I needed to use and some turkey so I’ve been eating this a lot. In good news I’ve decided I like *not quite love* cranberry sauce now. In bad news, I can’t eat another spinach wrap. In fact,
Dear Spinach Wrap,
Thank you for being a healthier option and having no dairy. I appreciate you. You really are wonderful and you are going to make a lot of people happy. This really isn’t you, it’s me. I just need to take some time. Maybe we can stay friends. I really hope so. Talk to you later,
Carrian

Now that I got that off my chest, this wrap really is yummy. I know I’ve eaten it too much and I need a break, but if you are stuck in a lunch rut maybe give this guy a try. I think it’s worth it.
Cranberry Turkey Wrap
Spinach wrap
Turkey *shaved, not sliced
Cranberry Sauce (I made some with a little orange zest, orange juice, sugar and water. Boiled it, simmered it, cooled it, and ate it)
Mayo
Lettuce

Spread the mayo and cranberry sauce on the wrap. Layer on the turkey and lettuce. Eat up!

  3. Frieda, yes I do french bread too. I either make it or buy it. A lot of sourdough breads are ok too

  4. This does look yummy! If you need a change of bread w/o dairy, what about french bread? I'm sure Harmon's has it or I can make it for you!

  5. This sounds delish! I pretty much think that turkey and cranberry sauce is a perfect combo; I never though of putting them in a wrap. Maybe I will try that this weekend.
