Lately I've been thinking a lot about how we can be a little more green/eco friendly/earth friendly etc etc. I saw like 5 min of an old Oprah where she showed a video about the garbage patch in the ocean.

Isn't that disgusting? Oh, friends we can do better. Much better. It's all about little steps at my house and I'm going to help you do the same.
I started looking at ways to reduce waste. On etsy I found the best little shop, Willow Whimsy. How stinkin' cute is that bag above? Guess what? It's a reusable sandwich bag!! Isn't that awesome?
Here's a little bit about Shirley.

Shirley sent me the above bag to try and I am sold. I tested crackers, grapes and sandwiches and not only did it keep everything fresh, but it was so fun for my girls. My five year old specifically wanted me to pack her yummy snacks for the park just so she could use it. PLUS it's way easy to clean.
For nightly cleaning just turn the bag inside out and rinse with warm water. For sticky messes (like a PB&J) use a little dish soap too.
Extended Cleaning Instructions (I do this about once a month):
Machine was on regular and hang dry.
