Wusthof Cheese Knife Giveaway

One of the very first things that I learned about when I decided to get serious about cooking (Read about what started it HERE) was knives. I wanted good ones. Nope, I wanted great knives. And I’ll tell you what, this doesn’t make a ton of sense, but having a fantastic knife set my cooking on fire, figuratively of course. I felt empowered. Like, with these knives, I am ruler over all things food, and I will create magic in this kitchen.

I know, you think this is ridiculous, but I’m serious. Beautiful, perfectly and carefully, hand crafted knives made me want to be better in the kitchen. So what better knife to start talking about with you than a cheese knife. Because cheese is glorious-these knives are glorious and now you are about to be glorious, by owning one of your own. YOU. ARE. WELCOME. (Actually, Wusthof personally supplied the knife, so you can thank them.)

Many people try the ol’ cheese slicer, and who knows, maybe I would like it too, but all I remember from growing up is our cheese slicer, with a little wire that would pop off all the dang time. It was nothing short of annoying. SUPER annoying.

This Wusthof cheese knife is perfection.

Why Should You Buy A Wusthof Cheese Knife?

Pretty sure I already said it’s awesome, but there are a few other reasons, one alone being that having a knife designed to handle cheese will truly make your life easier. Plus, you can win one from me…
  • The cheese knife has a specially made pattern across the blade that keeps the cheese from sticking (soft and harder cheeses)
  • Forged from one piece of especially tempered high carbon steel to ensure an outstanding endurance.
  • Extraordinary sharpness which is easy to maintain.
  • Special alloyed steel.
  • Stainless.
  • Seamless, hygienic fit of the handle.
  • For professional chefs and home cooking enthusiasts.
  • Guaranteed against material and manufacturing defects.

Your Chance to Win Your Own Wusthof Knife

Oh, you don’t want to just hear me talk about knives? You want to win one for yourself? DONE! Wish granted. You’re welcome.

And while we are talking about high quality, perfectly made objects, let’s talk about Barbara from Barbara Bakes.

Barbara is one of the first bloggers that I started following, and one of the first people to welcome me into the blog events world. She is talented, but very humble. Trust me, every single one of us could be a little more humble. She is kind, compassionate, open minded and generous. She is hard working, and honest. She not only wants to succeed because she loves and believes in her site, but because she knows that others could learn, grow and be happy if she puts up good content for you. Barbara also wants everyone around her to succeed. She’s not afraid to promote you, comment, leave love, etc.

Why Barbara Bakes is One of the Best

Ahhh now that (other than the ridiculously good food) is my favorite part about Barbara. She gets to know people. She knows about my family, she believes in me and others. She is not just a blogging friend. Barbara is a real life friend who wants to stay connected and take care of each other. I adore her. I adore her food. And I want you to as well.

This week is going to be a little different, but I’m hoping that my fellow bloggers will help me out with this week. Come back tomorrow to understand just what I mean. Seriously, this is going to be quite the telling week, and I need your help.

I'd really love to try this knife because I typically buy Henckels, but have always wanted to compare. And, today is my birthday. Really.
