Easy Gralic Parmesan Fry Bread ohsweetbasil.com

I love bread. We’ve talked about this enough that I don’t need to remind you, but I don’t always feel like busting out rolls. A few weeks ago we were having these yummy grilled chicken thighs and I wanted a carb but something different. We ended up pulling a roll of crescent rolls out of the fridge and giving them a quick fry then sprinkling a little parmesan and garlic seasoning. Bam, easy garlic parmesan fry bread was born.

They were totally done in like 5 minutes, and not at all healthy, but everyone loved them.

Hot oil, gently drop them in and seriously, it’s only like a minute, so flip it over a few times to get an even golden color. Then sprinkle away and let yourself have a fatty night.

Can You Freeze Fry Bread?

Wrapped tightly, leftover fry bread can be frozen for up to three months.

To reheat, wrap bread in foil.

Place in a 375°F for 10 minutes.

Can You Fry Bread Dough?

Frying bread dough results in a crispy, brown outside, while retaining a soft center.

Fried bread dough can be topped with butter, honey butter, or sprinkled with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar.

Can You Bake Fry Bread?

Although fry bread is traditionally fried, which lends to the amazing flavor of fry bread, you can bake it for a healthier option.

Roll it out, or stretch it thin.

Bake on parchment paper at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Then, turn the oven off but leave the bread in until ready to serve warm.
