This is one of my husband’s recipes, Honey Baked Chicken. For some reason we’d been married a good 3 years before I knew it existed. So sad because it is DELICIOUS! It’s also pretty fast and easy.
Don’t be worried about the curry in it either, everything blends together and it’s so flavorful. We like to cook up some peas, corn, and any other veggie hanging out around the kitchen and eat this like a big rice bowl. Leftovers are great made into casseroles or especially in soup! W just add broth, veggies and then potatoes or rice!
Will Honey Go Bad?
Honey can be kept indefinately.
It will never go bad.
Is White Meat Healthier than Dark Meat of Chicken?
Compared with white meat, dark meat contains more iron, zinc, riboflavin, thiamine, and vitamins B6 and B12.
White meat does contain less fat and calories than dark meat, but the difference is small.

We LOVE this recipe. How do you think this would take as a freezer meal and then added to the crockpot?? Sister and I are prepping freezer meals for post baby.
Hey Delia! This makes a great freezer meal! I would follow the recipe as written, let it cool completely. Put it in a freezer safe container and then reheat it in the crockpot when you’re ready to eat it. Thank you so much for the support!
This was the very first recipe I discovered from you several years ago and we absolutely LOVE it! You hit the nail on the head with combing curry and lemon pepper. So good. This recipe is a regular for us…Thanks!
Thank you so much Trisha! And thank you for all the support!
This was amazing. Even my picky 6 yr old liked it and that says a lot!
How could I convert this to the instant pot?
Hi Jennay, we are working on that recipe right now!
