We accidentally made dessert with our dinner. Wooops! It’s those buttery, flaky croissants from Costco that suck me into making grilled chocolateย strawberry croissants. Actually, Costco sucks me into all sorts of food blogger problems, like this pineapple habanero pork that we made too. And we’ve found a new hazlenut spread we love, Nocciolata.

And can you ever leave that blasted store without spending double what you had intended?

First of all, I love the sample time. They do such a great job of keeping you in that store. Although the people can get quite annoying. The last few times we’ve been there during samples there were a few people, adults mind you, that were seriously unreal about the samples. Butting in front of people, taking multiple and standing in huge groups while the poor people were trying to serve up the samples.

Jeepers people! It’s just a sample! But I do kind of understand. I mean, I love what they showcase. Suddenly you just have to have those darn dark chocolate blueberry quinoa crisps and you cannot leave without them! Yeah, ate through that whole bag in a week. Anyway, we couldn’t resist the croissants ย to make our favorite chicken salad and then we ended up grilling a few, spreading hazlenut spreadย and berries all over them and topping with cool whipped cream. Oh, yeah baby!
